CARE GUIDE

Micro modal garments are best cared for by washing in cool water on a gentle cycle, avoiding fabric softeners, and drying flat or on a low heat setting. To maintain softness and colour vibrancy, avoid high heat, chlorine bleach, and harsh detergents.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

WASHING:

Machine wash:
Micro modal can be machine washed, but use a gentle cycle and cool water (30°C or 86°F is ideal).
Mesh bag:
Consider using a mesh laundry bag to protect garments from abrasion during washing.
Sorting:
Separate whites from colours to prevent colour transfer.
Detergent:
Use a mild, gentle detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can coat the fibers and reduce breathability.
Rinsing:
Ensure thorough rinsing to remove any detergent residue, which can cause discolouration or yellowing.
Bleach:
Do not use chlorine bleach, as it can damage the fibers. Oxygen bleach can be used for brightening if needed.

DRYING

Air dry: Line drying is recommended to avoid shrinkage and damage from high heat.
Tumble dry: If using a dryer, use a low heat setting or delicate cycle. Avoid overdrying as it can make the fibers brittle.

Other Care Tips:

Ironing:
Use a low heat setting or a pressing cloth when ironing, or steam to remove wrinkles.
Storage:
Store micro modal garments in a cool, dry place. Avoid hanging them on thin wire hangers, which can cause stretching. Padded hangers or folding are better options.
Stain removal:
Pre-treat stains with a gentle stain remover and wash according to care instructions.

Frequency:
Micro modal fabrics have natural moisture-wicking and antimicrobial properties, so they don't need to be washed as frequently as cotton. Only wash when necessary to prolong the life of your UNSUITED sleepwear.
