SizeXS

Heavier in the hand than you expect. Weightless the moment it's on.

SERIS™ is our ultra-fine botanic fibre that drapes with real substance and disappears against your skin.

If you sleep hot, this is built to stop it. Lab-tested to pull sweat from the skin through to the fabric's outer layer in under 10 seconds, so you stay dry and asleep.

The fit is loose for airflow, cut long for comfort in bed, and has enough stretch to move with you.

Designed in Ireland. Milled, cut and sewn in Portugal.

Our model, MJ, is 188cm (6'2”) and wears a size Large (L).

FIT & SIZING

The fit is loose and relaxed, with straight-cut legs. Sleeves and legs are cut long on purpose, giving you room to move while you sleep.

Designed to work as loungewear as easily as it does sleepwear.

Check the size guide above before you order.

Our model MJ is 188cm (6'2") and wears a Large (L). The sleeve and leg length scale with size, so if you're shorter than MJ, check the size chart by height and weight before choosing your usual size.

MATERIALS & CARE

MATERIALS

  • SERIS™ fabric is made of 93% Micro Modal Air and 7% Elastane
  • Each fibre is ~8 microns across. That's about ten times finer than a human hair.
  • Origin of fibre: AUSTRIA and neighbouring EU countries
  • Origin of fabric: PORTUGAL
  • Origin of dyeing: PORTUGAL
  • Origin of manufacture: PORTUGAL

CARE

  • Machine wash at max 30°, inside out
  • Avoid tumble drying
  • Do not bleach
  • Dry flat
  • Do not dry clean
  • Iron cool, if needed

The logo and care care instructions on each garment are transfer prints. Iron around them, and avoid stretching or scrubbing any printed area. Heat from the tumble dryer can peel and crack the transfer prints.

SUSTAINABILITY
  • SERIS™ is made from regenerated cellulosic fibre spun from sustainably managed European beechwood.
  • Fibres are produced in Europe, fabric is milled and knitted in Portugal, garment is designed in Ireland.
  • unsuited is built to last. Independently tested by SGS at 194% stretch. Garments that hold their shape stay in wardrobes longer.
  • Washes cool at max 30°C. Most of a garment's lifetime energy use happens in your washing machine.
  • 93% of SERIS™ starts as beechwood. The remaining 7% is elastane, which gives the fabric its stretch and recovery. That 7% is also why we won't call the garment biodegradable, even though 93% of it is.
  • Tested to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 on the finished fabric.
LAB RESULTS

We sent SERIS™ and a 100% cotton sample to SGS, a UKAS-accredited lab, and asked them to test both the same way.

WHEN YOU SWEAT

  • SERIS™ moved moisture through from the skin layer to the outer face of the fabric in under 10 seconds. Compare that to cotton where 0% got there in the full two-minute test. This is why men have given up on wearing pyjamas; they find that cotton makes them feel hot and sweaty.
  • SGS classified SERIS™ as a "Moisture Management Fabric".
  • Cotton held sweat against the skin. SERIS™ pushed it the other way. That's the difference between waking up clammy and staying dry and asleep.

WHEN YOU MOVE

  • SERIS™ stretched 2.4 times further than the cotton (194% vs 77%).
  • After stretching, SERIS™ held onto 24% less deformation than the cotton, so it goes back to its shape instead of getting baggy.

WHEN YOU'RE UNDER A DUVET

  • Breathability. 16% more air moves through SERIS™ than through the cotton (625 mm/s vs 538 mm/s).
FAQ

WHAT SIZE SHOULD I ORDER?

Look at the Size Guide above. Find your height in the left column and your weight across the top. Where they meet is your size. Our sleeves and trouser legs are cut long for comfort in bed, so the chart might suggest a smaller size than you'd usually wear. The stretch in the fabric takes care of the rest.

If you are worried about the sleeve and leg length being too long, consider the short-sleeve set instead.

LONG SLEEVE OR SHORT SLEEVE?

Same SERIS™ fabric, same performance. Choose long sleeve if you want more coverage or one set for the whole year. Choose short sleeve if you run hot or prefer less fabric on you. The long sleeve set is cut long in the sleeve and leg by design.

I SLEEP IN BOXERS. WON'T MORE FABRIC MAKE ME HOTTER?

In boxers, or nothing at all, most of your skin spends the night pressed against other skin: arms against ribs, thighs together, the backs of your knees. Those are the first places you sweat, and the moisture sits there. SERIS™ pulls it off your skin and through to the outer face of the fabric, where it can evaporate. In independent testing at SGS, SERIS™ was classified as a moisture management fabric. The cotton control tested alongside it never let moisture reach its outer face at all.

DOES SLEEPWEAR ACTUALLY IMPROVE SLEEP?

The right sleepwear does four things.

  • TEMPERATURE: moisture-wicking fabric moves sweat off your skin before it wakes you.
  • HYGIENE: a layer between you and your bedding keeps both cleaner for longer.
  • COMFORT: soft, cool to the touch, and a long way from an old t-shirt.
  • ROUTINE: changing into sleepwear tells your brain the day is over. A consistent wind-down is one of the most reliable ways to fall asleep faster, and it holds better when you like what you're putting on.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE IT?

Sleep in it for 30 nights. Wash it. If it isn't for you, email us and send it back for a full refund. You pay the return postage. Returned sets are donated or recycled, never resold.

WHAT IS IT MADE FROM, AND WHERE?

SERIS™ is 93% MicroModal Air, an ultra-fine fibre spun from certified European beech, and 7% elastane for stretch and recovery. Knitted, cut and sewn in Portugal.

HOW DO I WASH IT?

There's no sewn-in care label because they itch. Care instructions are printed inside the garment.

  • Machine wash at max 30°, inside out
  • Avoid tumble drying
  • Do not bleach
  • Dry flat
  • Do not dry clean
  • Iron cool, if needed

WHAT AM I PAYING FOR?

The fabric and the making. SERIS™ is not a mass-market fabric, and sourcing it took longer than anything else in developing the Equinox set. It's made by specialists in Portugal and sold direct, so there's no retailer margin on top. Over a year the long sleeve set works out at €0.77 a night, the short sleeve at €0.69. Cared for properly, it lasts for years.

IS IT SUITABLE AS A GIFT?

Yes. Every set arrives in a rigid box with a magnetic close, and the 30-night trial applies whoever opens it.

DO YOU SHIP TO ME, AND WHAT DOES IT COST?

Delivery is free.

We currently deliver to Ireland and Northern Ireland. More countries to come.

DO YOU OFFER KLARNA?

Yes. Choose Klarna at checkout to pay in three instalments.
